Previously i gt a piece of bichir also like that, just that he have problem staying in the tank bottom, lower half of the body is floating. After a few dose of epsom salt, the bloat is gone. Hope yours is not like mine.

Normally mine eat till like that they don't float. But rather they stop swimming around n stay motionless like a rock.Takes about 1-2 days for tummy to go down then I'll feed again. I maintain temp in my tank at 30- 31deg, maybe cause of this aids digestion? But if any floating case I'll try Epsom salts, thanks bro
