I was using LED stripe lighting and finally decided to replace it
1) the intensity was not strong even though I got the stronger among the stripe,
2) in order to create the intensity I have to loop a few rounds
3) with the increased loop, the heat increases and water became warm.
4) have to add on other colours like white to create a balance of light spectrum.
5) whole costs for a 2ft tank lighting cost more than $120 (exclude shipping fees and got it at super discounted rate. $80 for 5 blue and 50 for 5 white with water resist tube (did it before LED prices drop)
Just bought a marine LED light and very satisfied with the outcome.
Just sharing from my humble experience.
