True. I myself also using HF RIO pump and fail repeatly after start-up. Send in for repair and works wonder. But not sure how long can it lasts too. Bought a dymax pump for standby.

thanks dude.. I using pump to discharge water from tub. I dont think siphon applied for tub.. low flowrate is because i using the same pump to pump back the water from aging water container..
