yea yea recently I also learnt that background color cannot be dark for breeding tank cos the discus fries are attracted to dark places. So if background dark, they may mistaken it as their parents...

Thanks for the advice. I've done per advised except feeding fries 6-8 times/day. I feed them 3 times a day only.

Luckily the parents are loving and both cared for the young. That makes my job...

Well, when they introduced these breeds last year, the prices of XBs and Reds are not as bad as now. They probably wanted to improve the quality of their RTGs to cater for pple with not-so-deep...
