Should be sub-adult or adult specimen. They look like mud eel but not fm the same genus. They are on the salty side.

What you can see is less harmful than what you dont see. Typically the bad stuff fm the waste would have leeched into the water. Unless you can remove the poo IMMEDIATELY. Otherwise, there is not...

The main issue is the induced stress during WC....
The main issue is the induced stress during WC. Some fishes may puke or bloat.
For me, I prefer WC few hrs or the next day after feeding to remove oil etc.. fm the water.

With TSN, you basically opt out many choices as...
With TSN, you basically opt out many choices as they get quite large & fast. They will start eating tankmates that cant grow that fast.

Crystal glass or low iron glass also got diff grade. Those used for tanks are typically slightly tinted when viewed on the thickness side.
Good acrylic tank then is clear.
