Hi guys,

Thanks for all the advise. I have remove all cc since a week ago but the ph level still remain at 7. I also add in black water and on the heater. Will monitor the appetite.

So is it due to water hardness or ph value?
Should I lower the ph to around 5 again? Using black water will help to reduce the water hardness, right?

I measure the ph using my ph pen. Before I put in the coral chip, the value was around 5. I think the coral chip work quite fast, it reach 7 within a day

Does high ph affect aro appetite?

Hi guy,
Need advise. Recently I introduce some cc into my aro tank and now the ph value keep staying at 7.2 level. Previously it was measure at around 5 - 5.5 only but my aro appetite was good....
