In terms of material, of course FGT is more durable as it's fibreglass compared to glass. Even so, unless you knock into it, a glass tank can last just as long.

Use a needle and thread to string across a few...
Use a needle and thread to string across a few pieces of MP, and attach both ends of the string to pieces of Syrofoam to keep the stringed MP afloat.

What about getting a piece that's about 12 to 14 inches? Is it "safer" i.e. is the gold head more sustained at that size, and less likely to disappear?
