Iodine should be fine. Can add salt into the water too. The wounds don't look very bad. As long as they don't get infected, it should recover pretty fast.

Fungal infection? For fungal infection, usually basking them under the sun for ~30 minutes daily will help. Otherwise, a pic of the condition will be good to determine what it is...

Got the 18-55 as 450D kit, 24-70 as 6D kit, 50 f1.8 is a cheap lens. The only lens that I really spent on is the macro.

Gears are not important.

I don't have much lenses. Only the 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 kit lens, 50mm F1.8, 24-70mm F4L and 100mm F2.8L macro.
