Arowana trying to mate with bottom dwellers?
 

anybody here has experienced or seen his arowana trying to mate with bottom dwellers?
saw my arowana circling my BD and vibrating, not sure what he was trying to do .
but was told by previous owner he was doing that to his bichirs.

would you guys say this arowana is most like male or female?
anybody seen this kind of behavior?

I think. It is trying to sense if other fish are of risk to itself or not. I mean the aro is feeling not confident and target the other fish it go close with the intention to Attack the fish.

Just a suggestion, probably it is good to remove the target fish to avoid eventual Attack.
