Match between Denmark and Finland abandoned after Eriksen collapsed on the field without being tackled.
All Danish players in tears and the medical team was trying to do CPR for more then 5 mins and he was stretchered off with full barricade around him.
It was probably heart seizure and let's pray he recovers from this ordeal
It was certainly not pretty sight to see players and fans in tears

lenghan 13-06-2021 02:30 AM

In 2012 he also had cardiac arrest whilst playing and that his heart stopped for 8 mins

Latest UEFA update..his condition is stable now.

Correction in 2012 it was another player who suffered cardiac arrest and his heart stopped for 78 mins

loveikan 13-06-2021 04:37 AM

Yeah
Was shocked to see him collapsed.
But glad to hear he is stabled now.

Btw, Fin had one shot one kill to win the game.

lenghan 13-06-2021 11:56 PM

Southgate is treating Jack Grealish like how Ole treated DVDB hahah

Harry Kane is so off-form you wonder if should you buy him in this state

in fact the entire English team were so tentative.
Agree that Kane has passed his best and we should not even consider him during this transfer window plus he is so expensive to secure. That fund should be channeled elsewhere

loveikan 21-06-2021 10:06 AM

Some of our heavily criticized players played well in the on-going Intl competition
Esp D.James who did well for Wales so far.

Ya I reckon they are more proud to don their national color rather than the club color. SM played pretty ok in new position as central defender too
Pogba always performed well wearing the French jersey plus his preferred position.
The only one that did not performed was Rashford in both matches so far
Also BF playing style was totally curbed for CR7 to perform such that for both matches BF seems lost and ineffective

loveikan 21-06-2021 10:05 PM

So how a team plays, the strategy also matters and just how good the player is

lenghan 23-06-2021 01:21 AM

June is coming soon to a close and where are we in the transfer market. We are merely "linked" to this or that player and nothing else!!
How can we even go into the market when internally there are so many issues that have yet to be resolved such as
a. Phil Jones (is he staying or going)
b. Mata (are we going to extend his contract)
c. Matic (are we going to extend his contact)
d. Jessie Lingard (is he going or staying and if he stays will he be in first XI)
e. DDG and Hendersen (Ole still have no clue who his best keeper)
f. Andreas Peirera (why need to relook on extending loan)
g. Dialot (still not sure to extend his loan)
h. Tuanzebe (asking to be loaned out)
i. Paul Pogba (where are we on the extension)
j. Daniel James (reportedly wants to move on)
k. William (asking to be loaned out)
l. Antony Martial (totally no update on him so far)
m. Young players like Shoretire, Ahmad and Hannibal ..what is going to happen to them? Loaned out or sitting on the bench week in/out??
n. Marcus Rashford, is he going for surgery after the Euros?

And the list is constantly growing....

Either Ole is taken for a ride by the Glazers or Ole is far from telling the truth to his fan base

lenghan 28-06-2021 02:36 PM

How on earth can we ever get rid of dead wood when Ole would like to review Dalot's position. After more than a year or so and Ole still needs to review??? If Ole is never ever going to include Dalot in his starting lineup, let alone on the bench, why the need to review?
And words are going around that Lingard is going to be offered a renewed 3 year contract with increase $$$. What is going on in Ole's tiny brain???
Renewed but on the bench all season unless there is injuries to starting XI??
We are simply not ruthless.
Plus Mata may be offered an extension???
Sell Romero but got Heaton is puzzling too.
Honestly I feel Ole is the weakest manager in the PL when making important decisions

loveikan 30-06-2021 03:19 AM

England finally won against German.
The team played well
Our players, Maguire and Shaw were really good esp Shaw

Maguire was named Man of the Match
Both Shaw and Grealish provided the assists for Sterling and Kane to scored respectively

lenghan 01-07-2021 05:23 AM

Finally Sancho deal confirmed n he is our new No. 7

Been quite a long while that a high profile player signed with us in early July.

Grealish played very well after he was subbed in.

"Amazing" took more than 2 years to sign Sancho. Hahahaha

More amazing is that they extended Mata for another year. Ole wanted this extension cos he said Mata's experience will benefit the younger players. I think Ole is bloody delusional. So much for sentimentality!!
And also amazing is the signing of Heaton the 37 yr old goalkeeper who hoped to be a goalkeeping coach!! WTF
We still have Lee Grant
And what about Phil Jones the only unsellable player in the team cos no other teams want him.
I really think the strategy of Ole is absurd, bothering on madness or even stupidity

moscowblue 04-07-2021 11:15 PM

Hopeful that Varane will come to us.

That will make us better in defence next season

lenghan 14-07-2021 07:45 AM

Sancho has passed his medical report and he should be officially announced as wearing the iconic number 7.
Varane update...We are now officially in talk with Real Madrid and the only roadblock ahead is the price. We offered 45 million whereas RM wanted 50million. Personal terms is not any issue.
Marcus Rashford has decided to go ahead with his shoulder injury and could be out for the first 3 months of the season.
Pogba has yet to confirm renewing his contract which will put a stop to the pursuit for Cavmavinga
We now have 26 senior players without including any new young players which will hamper any growth for the newly signed young players.
And we are considering to offer Jessie Lingard and Periera extension???
Plus we have the most expensive goalkeeper in the league who might be sitting on the bench cos Ole is in favour of Henderson as the number one.
What about Jones and Matic is really anyone;s guess

KeeHuat 28-07-2021 11:00 AM

Finally it appears that Varane will sign subject to a medical and terms to be agreed.

This was probably the one transfer that could collapse bearing in mind that Ramos used United to get a better deal for himself previously.

We also are paying 42m (listed in the tabloids) and not a higher fee which was reported.

lenghan 29-07-2021 09:05 AM

The 3 pre season games we played showed why some of the senior dead wood needed to be shipped out. Matic, Linggard Pereira Dan James had been poor or at best, average. Tuanzebe and Mengi unfortunately also did not make much impact.
It is the younger players like Elanga, Pellistric Hanniba, Shoretire and Garner that had been exciting to watch and these players shoiuld be loaned out to give them more exposure.
Instead of spending money for Tripper Ole should give Dalot more opportunities.
Even with 15mins given by Ole, DVDB showed why he should be given more game time

I am unsure about Dalot whether he can ever improve his defensive side. He is fairly alright going forward but has made numerous mistakes defensively often resulting in goals. Sometimes, a player can never improve further.

One example is Serge Aurier, great going forward but a disaster at the back, whether he will give a penalty away every time or fail to track the forward, etc.

Elanga appears to be the next one to break through among the lot. He has the size, strength and knack for goals.

2021/2022 Season Opening Match

Man Utd XI: De Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Maguire, Lindelof, Shaw, Pogba, McTominay, Fred, James, Bruno Fernandes, Greenwood

Subs: Heaton, Mata, Martial, Pereira, Dalot, Sancho, Matic, Williams, Van de Beek

lenghan 14-08-2021 09:59 PM

Last season Pogba had 3 assists but today for only ONE game he had FOUR assists. WOW WOW
BF also with hattrick
Greenwood scored one and Fred one too

Liang_Zai 14-08-2021 10:03 PM

I think James is as good as gone. Good game for pogba. Martial coming up n with his botak head i think he will fare well. Rashford,Lingard and martial the moment have hair will out of form:p

lenghan 14-08-2021 10:08 PM

Sick that Ole still does not want to give Donny any chance. Should take Bruno off and replace with Donny when we are leading 5-1

KeeHuat 15-08-2021 03:17 PM

Against Leeds, McTominay was the one heading clear from the Leeds corners when they came in

KeeHuat 22-08-2021 09:23 PM

United: De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire (c), Shaw; Fred, Matic; Greenwood, Fernandes, Pogba; Martial.

Subs: Heaton, Dalot, Varane, Lingard, James, Mata, McTominay, Sancho, van de Beek.

lenghan 22-08-2021 11:42 PM

It makes absolutely no sense that Lingard comes before VDB. Ole is too ignorant or simply no footballing sense taking Matic off when our midfield is the main weakness

yifen 22-08-2021 11:56 PM

Feels boil when see Ole makes those changes.

lenghan 22-08-2021 11:59 PM

Mcguire almost cost us the game if not for the brillance of DDG
DVDB might as well be put on sales since Ole has no intention to use him. Lingard just came back after being down with COVID and had less than a week in training whereas DVDB did well in preseason but still left high and dry to hang.

KeeHuat 23-08-2021 12:13 AM

Not taking the chances. Poor passing at times. Sloppy play at times. Not good play overall.

We were playing with 10 men in the first half. Where was Martial!!! He has been given enough chances.

Martial is totally deprived of any support from our midfielders.
Similarly Sancho was not effective.
With another week, DVDB should hand in a transfer request immediately cos he ain;t going to be featured by Ole (as well as Carrick)

KeeHuat 23-08-2021 09:36 PM

If Cavani was playing instead of Martial, Cavani would be making runs so that the other players can find him and also create space by pulling the defenders away. Martial is a lazy player waiting for the ball to come to him. Any other forward would have been better than Martial even James who do run and make some effort.

Martial is a lazy good for nothing. When things don't go his way, he will sulk instead of trying to put in some effort.

But the problem is Ole rates him very high on his list plus owners like him so very unlikely he will be sold unless a good price comes in which is not forthcoming at all
