OGS choose James to sneak in Chelsea defence

Chelsea goalkeeper very impressive

Both teams played cautiously and did not want to leave themselves exposed

Overall we had better chances but failed to capitalise. Surprisingly VL played a pretty good game IMHO Like the pundits said, if James had the footballing brain of Mata, he would be unstoppable. His decision making were awful |
James beside speed nth much he can contribute n till now I won't forget when he score the equaliser and start celebrating and still need the teammate to pull him back. Best part we lost the game
|
Overall, we were setup to draw the game.
No impetus by the home team, we actually looked more like the away team. Although DDG have basically nothing to do, our attack is horrendous to say the least. We should have started with VDB, but again, chose to operate with 2 defensive midfielders. Both Fred and SM kept giving the ball away needlessly and cannot hold the midfield shape that we craved for. Lucky that Pulisic did not scored with the slide from the blind side. Kepa days are numbered in a Chelsea shirt as the new Keeper made 2 stunning saves from Rashford and Mata |

The Bruno Fernandes slap on Jorginho as well. After what happened to Martial, BF should hv known better. |
Both managers were cautious because of their performances previously.
Lampard didn't want to let in goals as his team has been making mistakes and letting the opposing teams score. His players were passing sideways right to left and left to right. After the 6-1 thrashing by Spurs at Old Trafford, Solskjaer didn't want a repeat so both teams played cautiously instead of all out attack. |
Man Utd starting XI: De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Shaw; Matic, Pogba, Fred, Van de Beek; Greenwood, Martial
Subs: Henderson, Fosu-Mensah, Mengi, Tuanzebe, Williams, Fernandes, James, Mata, McTominay, Cavani, Ighalo, Rashford |
