Java Moss question
Heard that Jave Moss good for baby fish as they can nibble on the critters found in its fonds. Is this true? If i dump a bunch of Java Moss in my fry tank and no feeding for 4 days can the fries survive? Java moss can also grow in warmer temp right or maybe i should say survive in outdoor pond?
I went to a couple of LFS and don't seem to be able to get Jave Moss. Anyone knows which LFS near Aljunied that sells or anyone has spare to let go? Thanks |
yea java moss is good for baby fishes , like livebearers. But even the java mos will eventually be unable to feed those baby fishes you mentioned, you still need to feed your fishes .

Yeap, they usually have quite a bit of them. But not always in pristine state. See luck sometimes. Would be good if you can feed your fries as they tend to need more frequent, but smaller feed amounts. The micro-organisms found in the fronds are more for secondary feeding, imo.

Hi, you might want to try Nature Aquarium at Balestier / Thomson area.

There's 1 shop near Boon Keng MRT... Can't recall it's name, can try there.
