THIS IS MANCHESTER UNITED #140 (2018/19) - A Season To Forget

THIS is*MANCHESTER UNITED

It is*Manchester United,*Man Utd*or simply*UNITED

Keep the topics to Manchester United and our next opponents...or anything newsworthy related to football.*

We will focus on positive support for our club and*refrain from negative remarks on our rivals.

ALL are most welcome in here however,

Name calling, taunting on other teams are frowned upon.

Likewise, those with hidden agenda and/or ill intent and/or feel the need to goad and/or feel the need to stir shxt please go elsewhere.

This has been one of the worst season watching our team playing nonsense football. Players all thinking they are bigger then the club.
If we have to be struggling at the bottom team of the league, then we truly do not deserve to be in the top 4 position.
Really many of these prima donnas need to be send packing

Bro, not really a season to forget ... IMHO, there are moments which brings back the joy, excitement and hope albeit a shortwhile only.

Looks like the rebuilding will have to start early for us and without CL, dunno who will stay and who are willing to come in. Hopefully Pog wll be sold ... he's very disruptive to the team. Then there's RL, AS and some 'expired' players.

That aside, IMHO the first to do list is to get Woody out of football matters ... He scewed up as much as those on the field. He shud get back to concentrate the biz end of things for the club.

Hope they'll get a proper DOF to run it and work with Ole and team..not that someone who is in for sentimental reason(s) type.

Yes, but those moments were just too far and in between.
Even the commentators mentioned that our "main" strikers, AM and RL ran the least compared to all other strikers in the league.
Totally agree that PP needs to be removed.
But without european football, it may prove an obstacle to attract top players

Actually I gave up top 4 long time liao then came Ole's appt and there's hope till last the few 8-9 games ago, it 'died' again. After the winning streak, we sucks big time and won games by luck so I'm not too disappointed here.

Think we will need to brace ourselves for many such outcome in the next few seasons or so. Hopefully good things can happen for the club quickly. Errr...Like the Saudi Prince takeover come true or something ... then $$ no issue, players no issue :p

Arsenal just did what we did...drew at home to Brighton
And there goes there top 4 position

Winning at PSG and a good run of games by by Ole are good moments. Don’t be so negative lar

Ole will bring his own players for next season and that will be his real review.

Deadwood asides, Just hope he can convince players to join even w/o CL football.

Btw, Rio Ferdinand wanted the dOF position.

Think majority are not that concerned with the results but with the manner of how the game was lost

Spot on. For most of the games that we either lost or failed to garner the three points, it was mostly a case of poor attitudes of many senior players, who are just "strolling in the park"
This is where, as supporters of this club, we become truly frustrated and simply hope for the season to end, plus the end of these "dead woods" so that a rebuild could commence.
We are leaking goals like no other seasons and the "glorified" strike force we have are simply firing blanks or for some, waiting for the ball to drop in their preferred position, but NEVER NEVER need to fight for the ball thinking it is not their preferred task. Similarly some of our strikers think that collective defending when we are under attack is their out of their job description!!!!
Or worst we find some of our players "pretending" to jog back to defend
