Tank Size = Number of Arowanas

Hi Bros.

How many Arowanas would it be advisable to keep in a 10 by 3 by 3 tank with a 9 by 2 by 2 sump?

Thank you.

Cheers mate..!!

9 aros and they will grow big in your big tank.

3ft depth is going to be back breaking for maintenance.
do consider carefully.

Although mine is only 2.5ft deep but its 3 ft wide.
cleaning is already quite tough.
So I bought a 3M mob and clean the interior like mopping the floor...
:D

Thank you for your thoughts Bro.
I agree totally as my present tank now is 6 by 3 by 3.
Very tough on the back.

Hey there Bro..
I am also using somewhat the same tools as you are..
I use a Scotch Brite cleaning pad with accompanying extendable pole to clean my entire tank.

By the way, do you guys think it is worth it to commission a bigger tank?

if you were to ask me, I'll say yes, go ahead if financially no issues and not causing any inconvenience to your love ones....
:)

10x3x3 should be able to keep more than 12 if you are consistent with your maintenance.
