Snowy update (White leucistic Australian lungfish)
 
It has been a while since I have updated of the progress of snowy. As in the title he is about 32" now and still growing strong. I hope you guys like the pics.;)

I love them :D, awesome animal. It has grown alot, nice tank by the way. Would it be possible to get a full tank shot?

They are not parasitic holes, he has had them since I got him, they have just become more pronounced as he has got older. I would love to know what they are?:confused:

Those holes or pits are sensory organs, here is and article that dug up that explains them. :)

The holes I think is a norm for all lungfish?

Looks a tad similiar to those you'll find on an Electic eel

Thanks, he certainly has! I feed snowy everyday when I get home from work. I feed plec waffers, cichlid pellets, catfish pellets, koi pellets, small frozen silvesides, market shrimp, river shrimp, cut fish peices, beef heart and anything else I can get my hands on.

Snowy is still the only white Aussy lungfish in a private keepers hands. There are 5 other aussy lungfish being held at the breeder, but they are orange and are from different parents.

u only need a very gd camera with a gd macro lens + gd lighting. :D
