It was as clear as daylight what is currently wrong with the club

Probably a plot to let the world know the problems clearly and time to get rid of the black sheep in the management teams.

Honestly the fans deserve more then what they are seeing right now.
Just look at how bad the situation is....we were trying to get rid of "deadwood" like Matic, but ironically when he came in 2nd half, he brought calm within the midfield.
We really need experienced players to guide our youngsters, otherwise, sooner rather then later, they would become disillusioned and leave (probably why Chong and Gomez does not want to sign extensions??)
And this would probably be why Pogba is exploiting this weakness and play as he wishes

not sure about Gomez but for Chong the mgmt is trying to persuade him to stay.

This is the mickey mouse cup that nobody takes very seriously except us and
in the first half, we were already down 0-3 to a team that did not even start a recognised striker in their line up.

They were playing 451 with the 1 (Bernardo Silva) being a false 9.
This effectively negates the so called " counter attacking " set up we have.
And we were devoid of ideas to overcome it.

This United team is at best a top ten team.
Out of its depth to compete effectively for even the top 4,
never mind the premiership crown or UCL.

Long seasons ahead. Many seasons

After managing Man U for 27 years, SAF retired in 2013 and its already been 6 to 7 seasons. Hope the football philosophy and culture can be rebuilt with the right management team. The manager alone can barely do anything and its a big club with huge expectations always.

btw was Fred playing as a DM against MC?

Injury updates

Macguire's scans have revealed the England international has suffered a muscle tear and he has already been ruled out of Norwich's visit to OTon Saturday and the FA Cup replay with Wolves on Wednesday.

It is a further blow to Ole, who is already without midfielders Pogba and McTominay.

Maguire's absence also leaves the OGS short in the centre of defence. Rojo and Tuanzebe are also injured and Eric Bailly has only just returned to training following more than five months out with a knee injury.

So it looks like we have to bear with the partnership of Jones and Linderloff both that would not even start if they were with Norwich.

To put United in the correct direction, everyone at the club must move together with the same philosophy. Hopefully Woody with his earlier mind set of signing managers with different ideas on running the team (e.g. signing Jose to compete with Pep) and his own ideas on signing players with a boost to commercial/business intent, has learnt his lesson.

I am unsure how much input the Glazers have in the running of the club.

It is a painful step that will not be fixed immediately. Everyone must be on the same page.

One club has not won the league for 29 years and they are beginning to look a better team after years trying to build up the team.

How many asked for SAF to be sacked when City beat United 6–1 at Old Trafford in October 2011. United lost 5-0 to Newcastle in October 1996. One week later Southampton 6 United 3. Chelsea 5 United 0 October 1999. United 1 Liverpool 4 March 2009. Which fans and pundits said SAF got it wrong in these matches and should be sacked.

Here are the criteria for a United manager and you are free to nominate a CONFIRMED one who will meet all the criteria. Don’t give hopeful candidates. I don’t agree with Poch as he has no winning track record.
- Have a 90% probability to win the EPL in season 2020/21
- Win 90% of all tactical battles against all opponents
- Play attacking football and score plenty of goals
- Do not let in goals and have the best defence in the EPL
- Develop the youth and bring them into the first team
- Keep all the fans happy

the team must press on with so many obstacles.
and with the season ending in another 4 months plus, the players must play like they are playing for their future
