Is it possible? IOS question

Dear bros,

Id it possible to have an IOS system that intakes water from both the bottom and the top like it's possible with sump setups?

Has anyone here done it so far? Every IOS system I've seen is either bottom or top intake.. Have never actually seen a dual intake ios before.

Thanks in advance.

Lex

I'ved seen a lot of IOUS from pics but I realized that most of them are actually IOS, there was no underflow, or there was no overflow :o

... so I was wondering, does IOUS actually exist? Thanks again. :)

My tank is IOUS.. Water go in from both top and bottom.

Usually when you custom make a Tank with side internal sump it comes with both top and bottom intake, but I would ask the tank maker to remove the bottom part as I usually add in sand into my tanks.
