Unbelievable that it must take 80th min for Ole to realise we are not making any progress then to put in Shaw and DVDB hoping for miracle???
None of the players deserve to wear the jersey for this match. Martial is dreadful and still on the pitch |

Totally no purpose or commitment from every single player. HM may have scored the equaliser but his indecisiveness led to their second goal. Instead of clearing the ball he made a back pass to DDG who bottled it up by weak clearance |

Really poor performance by so many players: Martial, Rashford, Fernandes, Tuanzebe.
Tuanzebe should have headed the ball away for the first goal and DeGea was too weak to punch the ball away. At this rate, Tuanzebe cannot make it. DeGea's weakness was exposed with players crowding around him. Why was Burke unmarked in the penalty box and allowed to take a shot. Martial is not strong enough and keeps on losing the ball. Telles should have tried running up the left side when he had the ball but was playing too safe. Rashford went missing and didn't attempt to try and mark the SU player in the second half who was running into the box. Fernandes was off today. Referee disallowed a good goal as it wasn't a foul on the SU keeper in the first half. Even though there are varying opinions on Fred and McTominay, both of them in this match would have added some steel to the team when most of the players were too lightweight and didn't fancy a challenge. |

". We didn’t have the right ideas or solutions. They weren’t there. The performance-level wasn’t there, the tempo wasn’t there, the quality wasn’t there. There were spaces we didn’t use and chances we could have made more of in the first half but, when you’re 1-0 down, you’re always chasing the game. They dropped deep and defended really well. I have to be fair enough to say they defended very well and we didn’t have the solutions to open them up.” This is as good as admitting he ran out of ideas to come up with Plan B |

Verdict on players in the squad which excludes the deadwood already identified to be sold
The players that have been given chances and are simply NOT GOOD ENOUGH Martial (lack of effort, mentally weak and goes hiding when needed) Matic (too old) Mata (too old) Jury is out on these players as hopefully they could improve further, Henderson (needs to improve further), James (can run but headless chicken at times), Lindelöf (can’t head the ball for nuts), McTominay, Telles, Tuanzebe (only 1 good game against PSG), van de Beek Inconsistent DeGea (physically weak against big players in the box), Pogba, Rashford Injury Concerns Bailly (too gung ho) |
A Poor performance.
Anyway not the first time we lost to a bottom team Cavani missed a chance to equalise when he ran into the through ball ( think Beek passed the ball) metres into the left side of the goal. He chosen to trap the ball instead of shooting at goal and a poor first touch rolled the ball out of play. Wasted |
