Shelving racks as tank stand?

I've been seeing many such racks being sold as fish tank racks...
And even pictures of several tanks stacking on it.
And they claim can hold more than few hundred kg of weight per tier.
I personally won't use.
What's your opinion?

Personally, I would not such racks at this height.

For my current 2-tier 422, I had the rack specially done up to hold the weight.

for small tanks, like 1-2ft no problem...

been using for years...

I noticed many of those newly setup lfs using such racks for their tanks...

Can. The racks should have load rating, just don't go over it.

For betta ok as they kept in smaller individual tanks.
