Hi All please advice which type of Betta for start this new hobby.
And where is the best place and good price to look for.
Also how to Select.:confused:

Do you have a budget?

coz this hobby can range from less than $50 too several hundreds :D

also read around the forum to determined what strain you like and then we can guide u from there. You must know what you want out of this hobby.

I would advise getting the short tail first to kick start the hobby, mainly HMPK then moving on to the long tail like Halfmoon, which require more "advance" care

Hi, welcome to the hobby.
The type of betta really depends on your personal preference. Like bro here mentioned Plakat easier to take care.
You can try to look around, maybe start up from a pair from LFS?
Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. Please select one or a pair that you like the most so that this hobby will keep you going. Make sure the betta deserves your good care. :)
