Jonker 88...in Malacca
|
One located near or rather opposite the hawker centre in Changi Village....one of the shop houses. Ate there once only.
2.50 for a very small bowl. Smaller than the bowl of chendol shown by lorkun. |
Boon Lay Hawker Centre, one of the best :o

For me is the 1 at bukit merah view hawker center. You cant miss it as there will be a queue during lunch time and is the only store. Cheap and serving is generous.;)

Ingredients used in chengdo in especially important esp. the coconut milk. The $16 one use fresh coconut milk. Cheap ones use uht coconut milk.

I used to like Hollywood (Bedok Interchange hawker) when it was run by the previous owners. After it was sold, the new owners doesn't seems to do it the same.
The TPY Four Seasons is nice but I like those in Melaka most. Not the famous shop in Jonker Street (that's really over rated with the gluey gula melaka which is over done), but another stall near the start of the street (left side) or another shop along Bt Cina. ---------------------- Maybe I shd make a day trip up to melaka. Makan trip, dry bak kut teh, cendol, klebang coconut shake, celup... |
"4" at Seletar Mall
