Last count in tank was 45% casualties. Last count was 25 surviving from 45. All 25 growing well from 1.5cm to 2.5cm. Feeding on frozen blood worm and algae pellet since day 1.

can lobster be placed in planted tank ?

Bro throw in alot of java moss and some tb for them to snack.

Bro it seen like your cray surviving rate is very low very lighly is due to your feeding not enough cos my alway high survier rate.

My pratice is to put alot of java moss for them to hide and also they will snack on it too and i will pour in tb for them to feed.

Clean bottem no graval at all so that i can suck up all the dirt and refill water every week.

Noted and thaks for the feedback. Indeed, I agree that as initially I did not provide sufficient hiding place. Thus the casualties.

But hey, the next batch is coming liao .... :p Target for 100% survivial rate if possible.

Of course you can. A well mature planted tank is an eco-system by itself. However, depending on the temperament of your lobster, be prepared for your plants to be uprooted or eaten. :)

As Bro GUS recommended. A planted tank with Java Moss/any type of Moss is the best breeding tank for baby lobsters/shrimps!
