Disappointing match and result. Poor first half. Saved by Greenwood.

De Gea's one weakness is he is physically unable to compete with big players

Martial was poor, didn't see any contribution at all

lenghan 16-12-2019 01:08 AM

We took so many shots on goal but sadly, mostly wild shots.
Yup, Martial was really poor and should be taken off yet OGS did not replace him!!! His contribution was next to zero and not working hard for the team at all. But when replaced he always sulks!!!

loveikan 16-12-2019 01:32 AM

Needed a proven playmaker to prise open defense

BBP604 16-12-2019 05:06 AM

Need a goal poacher.
Someone who is aggressive in front of goal.
AM lack the killer instinct.
Another attacking midfielder to give option in the centre.
Countdown to transfer mkt to open...

Seriously believe that Pogba is all out to get away from OT.
Just when he is thought to be ready, he called in sick and will be out till date TBA.
Making sure he is not injured till the Jan transfer window opens???

KeeHuat 19-12-2019 07:13 AM

Eventually a 3-0 win against Colchester. Rashford scoring 2 after missing chances in the first half with Martial scoring the third.

First leg HOME for us

Liverpools signed a Japanese player......fast deal not much being mentioned although he is still an unknown but he is doing well and playing for Red Bull Salzburg as well.
We are going after his team mate Haaland also from the same team.

But do hope our recruiting dept can be that kind of efficient as well too

loveikan 20-12-2019 07:47 PM

Getting louder but will he join us?
Is his relationship with OGS gives us us the advantage?

But still an unknow whether he can perform in EPL.

Erling Braut Haaland is flying in to Manchester this morning with his father and agent Alfe Inge Haaland for talks with Manchester United. [Aftenblad, Norway]

Doubt this will materialise as he probably has set his sight to play in Germany.
OGS, during his press conference certainly did not show any confidence that Haaland is coming here.
In fact during his interview, there were lots of "Ifs" and "Buts" when asked about Pogba.
No matter how great a player Pogba may seems (that is if set his mind to want to play), all these hypes by the medias will sooner rather then later drive him out of OT. And I believe, many fans will not moan about his departure.
When asked about new signings, OGS certainly sound like he has no freaking ideas what the Board will do (and more significantly, the "targetted" players' desire to join OT)

jwhtan 21-12-2019 01:19 PM

dun think Utd entering talks with Haaland

OGS says " I don't think he's en route here, to be fair, not through me anyway. I can't comment on other teams' players, I've said that many times. "

to me, this is an outright denial ...... very emphatic
if Utd is entering talks, they will at most be evasive and vague about it

also OGS has said previously that he believes Haaland has already made his mind up about where his future will lie,
and says that the crucial thing is that the forward goes to the club that is best for him.

Really dun think we are negotiating with Haaland

Yes, I don't believe his father would sanction this move, not after our Roy Keane ended his career

loveikan 21-12-2019 10:54 PM

C.Anceloti is back into EPL and in all due respect......with Everton.

Anyway, the EPL minus Conte and Allegri will showcase all the top managers in the world in a single league.

And with some some clubs putting their trust in ex players such as Arteta, Lampard and OGS to manage their clubs, I am really looking forward to see them rebuild their team successfully.
They know the DNA of their respective clubs and hopefully with good support will bring them back to their former glory.:)

Not forgetting some promising managers as well who are managing the smaller clubs.
All these will bode well for EPL.

KeeHuat 22-12-2019 10:12 PM

Manchester United: De Gea, Wan Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Shaw, McTominay, Fred, James, Lingard, Rashford, Martial
Substitutes: Romero, Pogba, Mata, Andreas Pereira, Young, Greenwood, Matic

Liang_Zai 22-12-2019 11:29 PM

Our players seriously when Watford defend deep they should run around to create space n openings yet all just stay in position pass left n right only

2 shots off target for the 30mins play against the bottom club is not what we like to watch

Liang_Zai 22-12-2019 11:35 PM

Lol lingard think they open run on goal is training???fcuking just casually chip over

Shadow7 22-12-2019 11:43 PM

Too casual, the boys seems to think that they are much superior to watford players and by just kicking around they will eventually win the match

Rashford hardly in the game for the first 40mins.
Anyway damn boring 40mins play so far

Liang_Zai 22-12-2019 11:46 PM

Mc tominay also very casual n lose the ball alot of time.lingard decision making is seriously amateur

Shadow7 22-12-2019 11:48 PM

Even the commentator also said thankfully only a min of injury time

Whilst Rashford is off his game in the first half, Martial is plain LAZY to be caught offside time and again. And worst. his body language towards the 4th official...OMG!!!
VL is fast becoming a liability in the backline too

Shadow7 23-12-2019 12:05 AM

DDG howler again :(

That is a super bad one

lenghan 23-12-2019 12:08 AM

"No eyes see"

Liang_Zai 23-12-2019 12:11 AM

Lol its ok as long we can get 1 goal back within 10mins still got chance.pogba should come out soon lingard should go. Daniel James only got speed but he cant dribble though so when no play counter basically he is invisible

Shadow7 23-12-2019 12:13 AM

Being the old fashioned manager OGS will only bring on his subs on the 60mins mark even when we are 2-0 down and screaming for changes

lenghan 23-12-2019 12:13 AM

Not when we are already 2-0 down.
That must be one of the worst display so far we have seen of the team

And you will be proven correct. His game plan is next to ZERO when you take off one of your most speedy player (though he may have appeared injured)

Hehe as per mention previously ole like dont have a clue de only can depend on the spees of our players to counter

lenghan 23-12-2019 12:30 AM

Just look at Watford players, they are all playing with pride whereas we play with total lack of decency from everyone for the badge so far

Shadow7 23-12-2019 12:39 AM

Donít think itís right to field the same team and formations for every match, what works against Liverpool and spurs doesnít means will work against these teams. Maybe we donít need 2 defensive midfielders

lenghan 23-12-2019 12:41 AM

At the rate we are playing 2-0 down is a compliment!!!!
And it was a game where all pundits pointed to our victory. What an irony

KeeHuat 23-12-2019 12:51 AM

What a poor performance and some horrible passing. A horror from De Gea.

And the best player was Pogba when he came on.
