2nil down. Our dear clueless ole lets see how long you can last

KeeHuat 06-11-2021 11:32 PM

Own goal and De Gea having made some good saves fumbled the second one. Second half change with more pressing was better.

lenghan 06-11-2021 11:33 PM

We were playing to avoid 5-0. Awful performance in the 2nd half with only 1 off target attempt and totally ZERO corner kick. The entire backline were abysmal, rubbish!!!
Ole simply have no answer in the 2nd half and imagine City were really playing at 2nd or even 3rd gear and totally dominated us..
Totally no tactics and City simply played keep ball and without making any subs whereas we made 4

lenghan 08-11-2021 12:33 AM

3 managers sacked today, Aston Villa, Norwich and Middlesbrough except Manchester United

lenghan 20-11-2021 11:06 PM

Starting XI DDG, LS, HM, VL, WB, Matic, McTom, MR, BF, Sancho and CR7

Ole is simply would not start Donny. This is stubbornness at the best'

On the bench: DVDB, DD, JM, EB, AM, AT, Fred, JL, and TH

lenghan 21-11-2021 12:27 AM

Against Watford, must say we are playing very poorly.
Had it not been for DDG penalty save we would have been 1 down and even then most of the attacks are coming from Watford so far
DDG made TWO penalty saves actually. First one had to be retaken cos Watford player was in the box ahead of the kick
And as per flow of game, Watford now leads 1-0

lenghan 21-11-2021 12:37 AM

First 30 mins CR7 and Sancho non existent

lenghan 21-11-2021 12:47 AM

2-0 down now. What a shameful display
It could have been 4-0

Liang_Zai 21-11-2021 12:48 AM

Rubbish play with no game plan

lenghan 21-11-2021 01:09 AM

Donny scores

Liang_Zai 21-11-2021 01:31 AM

His own fault for not being able to control the ball under no threat. Rubbish player through and through
Alot of mistakes, giving away the ball countless number of times and we do not deserve to have any point for this game.

loveikan 21-11-2021 01:53 AM

Players take turn to make mistake.
AM really sloppy to lose the ball again.

Really Ole (Out le)

lenghan 21-11-2021 01:59 AM

Losing 4-1 against a relegation threatened team??? And taking 4 points out of a possible 21. Ole should be sacked tonight

loveikan 21-11-2021 02:00 AM

MOTM is DDG cos he saved so may goal-bound shots to keep the score at 4.

Watford totally outplayed us in all department.
Ole is just too stubborn to admit his weakness or rather his total lack of tactics. Mcguire was abysmal and Roy Keane was totally right when he criticised HM yet Ole still fielded him instead of EB. MR is not match fit and still get selected. It would be an absolute shamble if Ole still is the manager when we next play

Really hope Ole get booted out tonight
Watching Mcguire throwing down his captain's armband when he was shown the red card showed how disrespectful he is towards the club

lenghan 21-11-2021 10:59 AM

Apparently after a 5 hrs Board meeting. Ole is to be dismissed pending negotiation on his severance payout.
What an irony that his favorite players "pressed" the final button, Mcguire being red-carded and SM giving away the penalty but yet the one that he regularly discarded almost "saved" him Donny scoring the only goal when it was 2-0 that almost sparked the "come from behind"
But Glazers would not make any official announcement yet...and that Fletcher would be the "interim" manager

yifen 21-11-2021 11:28 AM

Sometimes a lost is a win. Surprisingly, Ole still haven't got sacked this morning. The saga on Ole's sacking procrastinating way too long by the top management

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer: Man Utd sack manager with club seventh in Premier League

Manchester United have sacked manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer following Saturday's 4-1 defeat at Watford.

The club have won just one of their past seven Premier League matches and are seventh in the table, 12 points behind leaders Chelsea.

First-team coach Michael Carrick has been placed in temporary charge before United's Champions League trip to Villarreal on Tuesday.

"It is with regret that we have reached this difficult decision," United said.

"While the past few weeks have been disappointing, they should not obscure all the work he has done over the past three years to rebuild the foundations for long-term success.

"Ole leaves with our sincerest thanks for his tireless efforts as manager and our very best wishes for the future.

"His place in the club's history will always be secure, not just for his story as a player, but as a great man and a manager who gave us many great moments. He will forever be welcome back at Old Trafford as part of the Manchester United family.

"Michael Carrick will now take charge of the team for forthcoming games, while the club looks to appoint an interim manager to the end of the season."

jwhtan 21-11-2021 08:17 PM

I think it's obvious Solskjaer is clueless and will not be able to bring this talented squad any further.
The danger of cos, is a new manager comes in and dismantle everything.

KeeHuat 21-11-2021 10:08 PM

One of the reasons is that the coaches are all to young except for Mike Phelan. If a manager is not experienced enough, he should have experienced people in this team to assist him. Of course, we don't know what is going on at the training ground but Mike Phelan having worked with SAF as his number two for sometime should be experienced enough to assist.

Looks like nothing has changed at OT except Ole leaving. The coaching staff which are responsible for all the training that lead to the dismal footballing style are retained and Carrick named as temporarily in charge until a interim manager is appointed. Carrick was also the assistant coach when Jose was sacked as well as Ole and both are now sacked. The interim coach to be named will have not much influence and players like DVDB or AM will leave as well as EB, JL and PP. Cavani will also leave and Heaton may too. So whoever is appointed has a formidable task on hand to rebuild the team. So to make sure we do not take further steps backwards. we should appoint a new manager soonest possible

lenghan 21-11-2021 11:15 PM

When we watch most of the top teams, the players mostly take at most 2 touches of the ball and releases the ball to the next player which makes football flow fast whereas we tend to try to dribble past players most of the time cos teammates do not know their positions to receive the pass, This is all down to training which Carrick, McKenna and Phelan failed miserably. Otherwise it is passing backwards or left or right or even taking long shots forward hoping to find teammates somewhere. somehow

KeeHuat 22-11-2021 04:29 PM

Wayne Rooney could be a potential future United manager.

He is cutting his teeth in the lower division and has faced so many problems with Derby. Derby has a 21 point deduction and not allowed to recruit players. Still Derby has managed to win matches. It must be tough to be a manager wh some many issues.

lenghan 23-11-2021 12:13 AM

It is reported that Harry Mcguire will relinquish his captaincy position to CR7

KeeHuat 24-11-2021 01:58 AM

Carrick's first selection

United: De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire (c), Telles; Fred, McTominay; Sancho, van de Beek, Martial; Ronaldo.

Subs: Heaton, Henderson, Bailly, Dalot, Fernandes, Lingard, Mata, Matic, Amad, Rashford

lenghan 24-11-2021 03:44 AM

Same old, same old. We are playing crab football in the first half. Once again it is DDG that is keeping us in the game. McFred are a horror show so far and WB is really shit Why not give Ahmad a chance to show his skill. AM is simply too afraid to get injured. Sancho hardly shine whilst Donny is trying his best. Surprising VL and HM playing quite ok. I feel we are playing for a draw rather than a win

lenghan 24-11-2021 04:14 AM

Yet another world class save by DDG
Instead of taking off either Fred or SM Carrick followed Ole's legacy by removing DVDB. MR replaces the useless AM

lenghan 24-11-2021 04:31 AM

What a flip shot by CR7 to give us the lead. Credit to Fred for chasing the ball off a bad pass by their goalie

lenghan 24-11-2021 04:40 AM

Finally Sancho opens his scoring account good assist from BF
Again credit to Fred for not giving up and chased the ball

lenghan 24-11-2021 04:48 AM

A game of 2 halves. First half we were terrible but 2nd half totally changed. So actually we still have consistency problem
DDG is certainly MOTM for keeping us in the game when it was still 0-0

lenghan 25-11-2021 02:28 AM

Ole had reported that the compensation he received will be donated to charity. Love him or hate him, but this is a wonderful gesture on his part.

lenghan 26-11-2021 02:15 AM

A very exciting news for us in appointing Ralph Rangnick as the Interim Manager for 6 months plus 2 years Consultancy role. Apparently he rejected the intitial offer but the Board counter offered him with more control during his 2 yrs consultancy role. He has a fantastic CV behind him that influenced Klopp and Tuchel.
Looks like all players will have a clean slate and the club will have a total reset. Known as a great tactician with many different formations up in his sleeve.
Nothing though about whether he is bringing his own team in.
This is probably the best footballing decision done by the Glazers

lenghan 29-11-2021 02:09 AM

It is a one way traffic with Chelsea attacking the whole game so far (30mins) and we only managed to take 1 shot which is off target whereas they have almost 10 shots. Again DDG is the one that is keeping it 0 -0
We are playing parking the bus all the way

Liang_Zai 29-11-2021 02:17 AM

Seems like its a norm all opponent pressing us and we can't find a way to pass the ball out

lenghan 29-11-2021 02:59 AM

We scored a lucky goal to be cancelled quickly when Wan Bisaka gave away a penalty 1-1 now
