Of Tin Foil Barbs, Bichirs

I.... know this is super like cheapo fish.. but is a personal fav in a tank..

Actually was wondering where I can find a good collection of TFB at a good price?

Am looking at getting a school of like 8-10 pcs to fill up my otherwise empty tank and clean up leftovers.

Not so eager to get any expensive fishes for now coz I'm plannin to sell the place and move out as soon as i can :o:o:o

Now still left 1 8" Oscar and 1 1ft+ Gar... Seebay lonely....

Am also looking at Bichirs... Majority are like so small... i very worried will kenna makan by the gar :o:o Maybe get 2-4 pcs to keep them safer-hopefully gar can remember old friends and know those are friends, not food.

Seriously, where should I shop at? :D:D

Any idea how big they are now? If i buy like 5-8 pcs, will they be safe from the jaws of the bigger fishes?

That's the headache when u have bigger fishes...... u can't find smaller tank mates. And the bigger tankmates are like asspensiveeeeeeeeee :(:(:(

I think about 4" can't really recall saw a tank full a couple of weeks ago. Your Oscar should be ok but the gar? What's the biggest fish it can take down?
