And the most likely candidate is Bruno Fernandez from what I have read so far

KeeHuat 11-01-2020 11:28 PM

Manchester United XI: De Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Wiliams, Matic, Fred, Pereira, Mata, Rashford, Martial

Subs: Grant, Jones, Dalot, Shaw, James, Gomes, Greenwood

KeeHuat 11-01-2020 11:59 PM

Shaw replaced by Chong on the bench

Shadow7 12-01-2020 12:20 AM

Mata is really slow off the pace

lenghan 12-01-2020 12:33 AM

Good assist from Mata for Rashford to stab the ball in 1-0

Liang_Zai 12-01-2020 12:52 AM

William ia making mistakes which nearly cost us nice save by de gea

lenghan 12-01-2020 12:53 AM

This is the Martial we all love to watch. His determination and anticipation plus ball skill good this first half

Shadow7 12-01-2020 01:07 AM

Penalty goal from Rashford go go go for the hattrick :D

lenghan 12-01-2020 01:15 AM

Martial free header 3-0

Shadow7 12-01-2020 01:15 AM

Comical miss by Brandon Williams and Rashford is being given a rest by OGS so no hat trick for him

Hope he is ok as he went straight down the tunnel

jwhtan 12-01-2020 01:21 AM

Juan Mata is the difference today and i think he is crucial when we play low block teams. His precise passes are the keys to unlocking crowded defences, not speed.

Brandon Williams, for all his energy and enthusiasm, lacks composure.
He hurries every chance that comes his way.
It was probably easier to score than to skied the ball into the crowd at such close range.

Shadow7 12-01-2020 01:27 AM

And a very obvious weakness of Brandon Williams is he can’t cross with his left foot so he’s becoming very predictable as he needs to cut back to play the ball with his right

lenghan 12-01-2020 01:36 AM

Simple finish by Greenwood 4-0
It is game like this that we should get more goals to increase our goal difference

KeeHuat 12-01-2020 02:00 AM

That is the type of creative player we need, Mata providing the through pass for Rashford's 1st goal. Unfortunately, Mata is too old now.

How did Williams miss scoring right in front of the goal. Greenwood likes to shoot through opposing players legs.

I don't know why so many players shoot like rugby players. They find it easier to shoot high balls than keep shots low.

lenghan 12-01-2020 02:43 AM

Comfortable win against the bottom club but the last 10mins we crept to our old bad habit of dropping back too far. Against strong opponents, we would have easily conceded goals. The lads should play till the final whistle instead of easing off

loveikan 13-01-2020 12:24 PM

very quiet Jan mkt.

anyway, hope OGS can consider AV player, Grealish. He is quite a good player with high work rate. can run box to box to defend, attack, provide assist and even score.

lenghan 13-01-2020 01:41 PM

Both Grealish and Maddison won't come cheap and doubt their respective clubs would sell them this Jan.
Reports are pointing to Bruno Fernandez signing is quite imminent, altho most of these reports are from Portugal

yeah...if Grealish and Maddison do come over, this summer is the most likely window.

loveikan 13-01-2020 07:45 PM

read that the Fernades had agreed to a 5 years deal worth 6mil a year. and Luke shaw is wanted by Lei as replacement for their left back Chilwell

Young got 2 new clubs interested in him.
wait for news

Luke Shaw is no longer the player he was touted to be ever since he had that horrendous leg fracture, only occasionally which makes him look very ordinary.
Chilwell was on MCity list too, so probably a worth exchange?

Believe Fernandez, a 55million target which we deemed too much last season has a 65million target by Sporting now

loveikan 14-01-2020 01:30 PM

new English word. Very funny
anyway this ex man Utd player is a Billionaire.

ARCELONA are inserting ‘anti-Pique’ clauses in the contracts of new signings after growing frustrated at the defender’s activities off the pitch, reports have claimed.

The ex-Man Utd defender has poured time and money into revamping tennis’ Davis Cup as well as buying a controlling stake in Andorra FC.

And club chiefs were reportedly furious that a film about former Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann staying with the side before he completed his move to Barca was produced by Pique’s production company.

But ABC claim his entrepreneurial pursuits have angered Barcelona bosses who want football to be the be all and end all for their highly paid stars.

And they claim that new deals now include a clause that curbs non-footballing commitments.

loveikan 14-01-2020 01:33 PM

and read we got Bruno Fernadez for £65mil.
announcement soon. hope it is true

loveikan 14-01-2020 01:37 PM

Grealish is really good.

His side lost 3-0 to MC.but he played very well

Valverde sacked by Barca.

They already announce Quique Setien take over when they sack Valverde
Quique Setien was previously Real Betis coach

IC.
let us see at the end of the season whether Xavi will take over.

loveikan 14-01-2020 09:14 PM

omg. Thought a few days ago, Sporting already rejected and yet our side still persisted to go this option.

Sounds like Ed Woodward and Matt Judge are fiddling while Man United burns. What should be simple £64m quick Fernandes transfer has got bogged down in unlikely player exchanges and nit-picking, penny pinching negotiations. Reports are saying we’ve offered the likes of Andreas Pereira and Angel Gomes as part exchange options. Are Dumb and Dumber going to get this one over the line?

Either Woodward and Matt Judge spoke only English whilst Sporting reps spoke Portuguese such that nobody understand each other.
Sportings had stated very clearly they are not keen on player(s) plus cash option. They want an outright transfer fee. Yet we still trying our luck???? WTF

loveikan 15-01-2020 06:34 PM

still waiting. haiz.
read our side hope to sign Bruno Fernadez in time for our match against L'pool
btw thought Gedson joined West Ham?

Sporting Lisbon are awaiting Manchester United’s final offer for Bruno Fernandes today. Jorge Mendes is already in England to complete Gedson Fernandes' move to Tottenham Hotspur and is once that is done he will be finalising the Bruno Fernandes transfer. Sporting Lisbon are happy to delay until after Friday so Bruno can play Benfica in the derby [Record, Portugal]

KeeHuat 16-01-2020 04:26 AM

Manchester United XI: Romero, Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Williams, Matic, Fred, Mata, James, Martial, Greenwood.

Subs: Grant, Dalot, Jones, Pereira, Lingard, Chong, Rashford.

lenghan 16-01-2020 05:55 AM

Martial and Greenwood pretty quite in first half.
But Wolves reserve goalie playing very well.
We were fortunate not to be trailing cos Wolves scored but was ruled NO Goal cos of handball prior to the score

lenghan 16-01-2020 06:12 AM

Brillant counter attack and Mata scored with a good flick

KeeHuat 16-01-2020 06:37 AM

1-0 win and through to the next round

lenghan 16-01-2020 06:37 AM

Final score 1-0
Hope Rashford is not injured too badly after coming in for less then 8 mins
