Choosing a kamfa
 

Hi all Shi Fus & Bros, can I find out what features to look out for in a good kamfa? I am eyeing one in a LFS that I find swee amongst the other fishes. But I am inexperienced when it comes to kamfa...would welcome any advice. Thanks.

Just a newbie input..as for me, I will look into few areas..
1) body shape
2) finnage
3) Kok
4) pearl
5) colour
6) face...
My 2 cents:)

Using Bro v80's checklist, I will look for the following:

1) body shape - broad, rectangular n balanced looking
2) finnage - spread out with big wrapped tail
3) Kok - big round like mushroom water kok, if pearls crossed will be better
4) pearl - classic kamfa dun hv much pearls but nowadays can hv dense shiny pearls all over the body n finnages
5) colour - class type not much colour but nowadays can get red based colour
6) face... looks like baby face with small inset eyes, short mouth, smooth complexion and chubby cheeks...

TS, if you see something with above description at reasonable price, pls let me know hor... i oso wan leh..... ;)
