snail matter..good or bad sign?

jz recently i notice that in my sump tank, there is snail growing rapidly..is it a good sign? Or a bad water parameter problem?

IMO its a good thing because snails are often added into tanks to finish off uneaten food thus improving water quality. Since its in your sump tank and it is growing, let it do its job i guess. No harm done. Unless of course you have plants in your main tank and won't want to risk the snails getting there. Also, if the snail dies of old age or whatever reason, remove it to prevent the water in your sump from fouling. Cheers:)
