to cure white spot... methyl blue and salt can do the trick right?

ultraboi 25-09-2002 10:21 PM

What are the pre symptoms before a white spot and velvet outbreak?

zhiz22 26-09-2002 08:12 PM

no such thing. it will just appear. but that happens usually after poor water conditions

dead! ahh... ... RIP

could be that i poison.

can someone educate what medication cannot be used with what!

should not have left out the message
do not mix medication

but y powder with m blue i think sebas has tried and no problem.

i thikn yr fish is quite sick by the time you noticed that it has white spots. probably late stage. otherwise a fish that has white spots has clamp fins but still will swim and eat and not hang like you describe.

i have been using m blue for a few days but white spot still stays. then i add y powder in the noon, that night it went away.

water change everyday, add lotsa salt, increase dosage if cannot cure. salt bath too

normally its 2 drops per litre for ocean free but 4 drops wouldnt hurt.

dinomax 01-10-2002 02:27 PM

kelvin, the salt u mention is it epsom salt or aquarium salt??

zhiz22 01-10-2002 04:23 PM

bro read my guide again. made modification
epsom salt is not 'salt', its magnesium sulphate
