Feeding routine
 

Hi guys,checking with all of u how u guys giving mixed foods to ur aros?
I have a comm of reds,trying to give mixed foods.
I got a headache was when i give them bf in the morning but after at nite n next morning they refuse mp.
Mp is the usual food.
Check with u guys how u manage to give a multiple foods in a day n they still consume it.

1 day feed 1 time can already.

One day once?
My aros only about 8-10 inches,still small.
Even one day once,i feed bf 2day the next day they also reject mp.
Can't i rotate the foods everyday.

how big are your bullfrogs?

I choose those smallest sizes around size of 20cents or slightly bigger

try to starve them for a couple of days then try mp again.

Try to maintain MP as the main staple food. If they are choosing something over it(e.g. superworms, frogs) then reduce feeding on those till they eat your MP again. Stagger out the intervals and play with the timings to know how you can incorporate a mixed diet.

One of the method I use is to feed MP first followed by small amounts of superworms. If the aro refuses the MP then the SW will not be fed :p

how many pcs comm?
all of them refuse mp after bf?
starve them if they refuse mp.. it won't take very long for them to accept other food or any food especially when its a comm.

Normally i starving for 1-2 days they will accept mp back.
Just checking wether can feed 2gether like bf in morning n nite mp.
Cos try b4 when i give sw they only eat sw until no more n starve awhile then they take mp again.
How to train them to eat everything,so i can feed them the food alternately.
I have 5 pcs of red commas.

I change their diet every other week.... so far okay....
