About a week later, I have made a count and the number of fries is at 9.. At this stage, they like to stay close to one another and not venture too far away from each other..Maybe safety in numbers..
Most of them are still black in colour but there is one or two pieces that has two shades of colour..

They are now able to find their own food.

Once they get bigger, will be harder to spot as they will bury themselves in the sand..

Yes, they all look cute at this stage.. So far the other fishes do not disturb them cuz when the daddy whiptail releases them, they are already fully formed and free swimming..

My first batch of fries have grown up nicely... They have also been spawning regularly as well... If I have the time, will try to update the fries again...:)
