About a week later, I have made a count and the number of fries is at 9.. At this stage, they like to stay close to one another and not venture too far away from each other..Maybe safety in numbers..
Most of them are still black in colour but there is one or two pieces that has two shades of colour.. Here's some shots of them.. http://i482.photobucket.com/albums/r...arko/028-6.jpg Closer look at them.. http://i482.photobucket.com/albums/r...rko/002-21.jpg They are now able to find their own food. Hiding among the plants and playing hide and seek.. http://i482.photobucket.com/albums/r...arko/040-2.jpg |
Vid of the fries..
Here's a vid of the Marbled Chameleon whiptail fries.. See the way they 'walk' across the sandbed to get from place to place..
Once they get bigger, will be harder to spot as they will bury themselves in the sand.. |
oh my gosh! they are super cute! other fish wont disturb them?
