I find him quite ok.
A powerful forward with some well timed running into spaces intelligently without getting offside.
Just hope, progressively he will attain good chemistry with the rest of the strikers and midfielders

Personally I do not think he is bad but just feel he is probably just like any ordinary strikers, nothing phenomenal but like you said, hope he can progress too which will then add more fire-power. And he must do it consistently unlike our Martial

Man Utd 'name their price' for Chris Smalling as Roma eye permanent transfer

Good one.
asking 25mil for his services.
Sell him, Phil Jones and Rojas to make way for young player like Tuanzebe who needed more playing time to build the consistency.

loveikan 07-03-2020 12:38 PM

the derby will be a good test. looking forward to it!

Matic deserves it with his right attitudes and performances earned him the new contract although I thought it will be only a one year deal.

Also , now Inter is preying on 2 of our youth players

loveikan 09-03-2020 12:14 AM

Eve kena slaughtered by the Blues, leading 4-0 now
2 quick goals in less than 10 mins in the 2nd half.

KeeHuat 09-03-2020 12:40 AM

Did OGS played mind games with Wan-Bisssaka and Maguire ?

lenghan 09-03-2020 02:04 AM

Very quick thinking free kick by BF to be finished by AM

loveikan 09-03-2020 02:14 AM

Why Fred got a yellow card instead of a penalty????
He clearly got his right foot kicked. Why not asked for VAR review?

Shadow7 09-03-2020 02:14 AM

We have to add another goal for all the pressure from this half and prepare for the 2nd half onslaught from Guardula’s plan to counter our aggressive 1st half display

Ya totally agree that VAR was not even called for.
And altho MC is dominating in terms of possession, our defense has held up so far limiting them only to one shot even tho they had close to 70% possession.
But one mistake and the story is different thus we must go forward to add another goal(s)

lenghan 09-03-2020 02:59 AM

So far we have not been able to make any headway and MC are continuing to dominate

Liang_Zai 09-03-2020 03:03 AM

Need to get william out he has been a liability and day dreaming afew moments which nearly cost us

Liang_Zai 09-03-2020 03:05 AM

Playing the game without strikers??likely put james in front

lenghan 09-03-2020 03:17 AM

Throughout 2nd half we only managed 2 attempts whereas MC are generating great pressure

Liang_Zai 09-03-2020 03:24 AM

We won 2nil

loveikan 09-03-2020 03:25 AM

McTominay!!!! 2-0!!!!!! Great technique.

lenghan 09-03-2020 03:28 AM

SM capitalised beautifully on goalie mistake to make game over for MC

KeeHuat 09-03-2020 03:30 AM

2-0 and 3 points.

Good defending by the entire team from the front.

Great trick from Fernandes for the free kick to Martial for the first goal and well taken goal by McTominay for the second.

Williams should learn from his mistakes in this match being caught out a few times.

BBP604 09-03-2020 03:30 AM

Very enjoyable match.
The team put up a very strong challenge.
Both goals were fantastic !

Shadow7 09-03-2020 03:35 AM

I was hoping someone would lob a goal against that smug goalie and what a goal SM hit :D

He did come out of line afew times to foil our goal.but both goal he conceded quite poor

loveikan 09-03-2020 03:53 AM

we missed 2 great opportunities to wrap up the game .
Both Martial and James should had passed to BF who had ran into better position to score but both chosen to shoot instead.

BBP604 09-03-2020 09:07 AM

Can see the team play much better ever since the arrival of BF.
More attacking football and several players have improved.
Matic, Shaw and Martial are more proactive and effective.
There's glimpse of what we used to play during fergie time.
Hope we can continue this momentum.

Fully agree.
Most important is consistency otherwise we will continue to be branded a mid-table team.
Really loved to watch the team plays with full confidence that they are capable of defeating any team with consistency and being fully focused

loveikan 09-03-2020 10:52 PM

wan Bisaka put up another solid in defence. He is improving on his attacking play.

He only need to work on another one of his weaknesses which is to look up first for player who is open when he is attacking with ball.

lenghan 10-03-2020 03:42 AM

Chong signed a 2 year contract extension.
Good for him

lenghan 10-03-2020 10:12 AM

The COVID 19 has caused tremendous havoc to the Italian soccer scene that it could now upsurge Pogba's intention to return to Juventus

loveikan 10-03-2020 11:34 AM

Next game away against Spurs.

KeeHuat 10-03-2020 12:05 PM

Fee not reported but indicated in other media as worth in the region of £30,000-per-week which is quite a lot for him. For this amount he is getting, he better improve from his current performance

Manchester United is delighted to announce that Tahith Chong has signed a new contract, which will keep him at the club until June 2022, with the option to extend for a further year.

I still dun like our tactic of hitting teams on the break. Yes we won, but I rather we won 3-2 than this

Spurs lost again, out of CL.
The team's performances worsen after JM appointment, not just with many injuries but the players are not motivated too.

Italian club Atalanta is the dark horse this season.

Jose needs star players inside the
team. There is none now in spurs as their main star Kane is injured

Spurs unfortunately has far too many of their star players injured long term and not surprised JM is facing pressure

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola says he would prefer matches to be postponed rather than played behind closed doors.
Having seen matches across Europe played in empty stadiums, Guardiola feels it is only a matter of time before the Premier League is affected.
The City manager said he will be guided by the game's authorities about how games should be played but his preference would be postponements.
"Does football work without spectators?" he said.
"If the people can't come, there is no sense. We will follow what we have to do, but I wouldn't like to do it without the people."
A number of European matches this week are set to be played behind closed doors, including Valencia v Atalanta in the Champions League on Tuesday, Paris St-Germain v Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday and Thursday's Europa League games involving Manchester United and Wolves.
"We are conscious of it because it has happened already in Italy," added Guardiola. "The league is suspended, and in Spain the next two weeks are behind closed doors.
"It is going to happen here. The tendency rises at the same level as Italy before and in Spain right now.
"The other issue you have to ask is, is it worse to play football without the spectators? We do our job for the people and if the people cannot come to watch us, there is no sense.
"I would not love to play matches in the Premier League or Champions League or the cups without the people. But we are going to follow the instructions of the government."

Speaking before Tuesday's Champions League second leg against Atletico Madrid, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp added: "The problem with football games is if you are not in the stadiums, then you go watch it closely together in rooms and I'm not sure which is better in this case.
"Whatever will be decided, we will respect, but I don't know how much sense it will make. If people think it will help, then we will do it."
