jwhtan 01-03-2020 01:53 PM

not going to change the big picture for Liverpool .....
for me, this season's premiership title is already over .....
personally, i'll rather have Liverpool winning the title this way
beating everyone by leaps and bounds
anyway u know they'll win the title one day, so might as well this way
no excitement, no nervousness, no squeaky bum time ....

this season, for everyone else, it is the top 4 that is most exciting
even Leicester may drop out .....

Now let's get back to Everton .....
everybody else's results doesn't matter if we dun do the job ourselves

loveikan 01-03-2020 07:48 PM

let see which striker will Ole select.
Greenwood had scored against Everton previously but Igahop is doing quite well and his power will be useful upfront

loveikan 01-03-2020 08:34 PM

Super Sunday with 4 of the teams vying for a CL spot:D

KeeHuat 01-03-2020 10:04 PM

Manchester United XI: De Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Shaw, Matic, Fred, McTominay, Fernandes, Greenwood, Martial.

Subs: Romero, Bailly, Mata, Lingard, Pereira, Ighalo, Williams

Liang_Zai 01-03-2020 11:16 PM

Very very poor mistake by de gea. Haiz please we are so close to 4th position dont waste it

sfk7 01-03-2020 11:21 PM

Round holes. Square peg

And to think DDG is on astronomical wages but his recent mistakes are not justification for that :(

loveikan 01-03-2020 11:59 PM

it was a right decision to sign BF who scores his 2nd EPL goal
Matic really stepped and I think Ole should consider giving him a one yr contract

Liang_Zai 02-03-2020 12:17 AM

We have been under pressure in 2nd half. Please buck up abit

lenghan 02-03-2020 12:31 AM

Everton has picked up in the 2nd half and looks more dangerous when they are attacking plus the man in black seems to favour the home team more

Liang_Zai 02-03-2020 12:55 AM

Ighalo should have bury it and maguire seriously should be more steady rather than keep concede corners or throw in.

Yes Matic did well and has been very good recently we should at least extend his contract for another year

lenghan 02-03-2020 12:56 AM

Fortunate 1 point in my opinion cos 2nd half Everton were certainly the superior team and VAR helped us too

KeeHuat 02-03-2020 12:57 AM

Tough match. De Gea gave away an unnecessary goal.

lenghan 02-03-2020 01:00 AM

Michael Owen the traitor feels the goal should have stood

loveikan 02-03-2020 01:06 AM

Eve played very well
both gk make blunder and also done well to keep the goal out.

That's why Michael is a pundit, a not very good one at that, and not a referee

Ya, the other rubbish pundit is Grame Souness (not surprised which club both these two were previously associated)

KeeHuat 02-03-2020 02:03 AM

Everton's tactics were simple, just hit the ball long for Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison to run onto

elimmel 02-03-2020 11:28 AM

Seconds before the “goal”, De Gea made a good save with his leg to keep out Sigurdsson’s shot. Made up for his early mistake.
The VAR decision was spot on too. Of course he was in play as soon as he moved his legs out of the way. If his legs were there, it’ll would’ve block the ball and also straightaway offside. No goal is correct.

KeeHuat 02-03-2020 12:03 PM

Diogo Jota of Wolves might be a good buy as he can dribble and score goals

Matic improved if he just release the ball faster, he tends to turn in circles before releasing to the fulllbacks, or centrebacks.

I really dunno what kind of a crap tactics OS is using.

Left winger attacker, right winger attacker?

It is the 1st time I see this type of tactics, he really needs to improve.
Everytime Chelsea drop points, we are not there to pounce on it.

If wanna get Jota, better get Adama Traore to solve the right winger problem. Wolves 1st goal is dun to his dribbling and strength on the ball.

Greenwood still cannot be 1st choice yet, as he massively lacked upper body strength.

I dunno why Gomes is not used? Just becos he dun want to sign a new contract?

This is his mistake, but he made 2 great saves to keep us in the game.
This season, the whole team everybody also making mistakes here and there.

He is still the 1st choice IMO

KeeHuat 03-03-2020 01:39 AM

I honestly cannot see what is outstanding about Chong and Gomes having watched them whenever they play in the first team and I don't think they can be outstanding. Chong is trying to dribble past everyone but can't do it. Gomes is too small and gets knocked off the ball. Playing for the U-23s is different altogether.

If the young players have potential they don't need to play many matches to show their potential. It is obvious after watching them a while but accepted that they will make mistakes at times because they are young. The two that have proved they are up to it are Greenwood and Williams.

We are not looking for good players but outstanding ones.

KeeHuat 03-03-2020 01:46 AM

Of course nobody except De Gea knows what is in his head having made unforced errors recently.

Peter Schmeichel probably gave a good analysis of what is possibly wrong with De Gea when he commented after the match yesterday.

KeeHuat 03-03-2020 01:55 AM

I don't know if Traoré of Wolves has a recurring injury of his left hand being out of his shoulder socket.

When Maguire faced up to Traoré, Maguire pulled his left hand hard and Traoré got injured. When Wolves played Spurs, the defenders were also trying to put Traoré left hand out of the shoulder socket. I think the defenders know this is a potential injury spot for Traoré.

Yes a very honest assessment about lack of concentration or focus. He totally made that traitor Michael Owen shut up as MO dared not look him in the eyes hahaha

A very subdued 15mins from our lads. But what would we expect when Ole named player like Lingard in the starting 11

lenghan 06-03-2020 05:14 AM

Even the ever reliable BF seems off or rather does not have the players to link with him. Ighalo honestly does not impress me so far since he first played.

lenghan 06-03-2020 05:23 AM

Nice goal by Luke Shaw
Second goal scored by Ighalo after a good run by Shaw
A game without VAR todaty

KeeHuat 06-03-2020 06:41 AM

3-0 win, through to the Quarter Finals

Is Ighalo really that bad?

I find him quite ok.
A powerful forward with some well timed running into spaces intelligently without getting offside.
Just hope, progressively he will attain good chemistry with the rest of the strikers and midfielders
