CONFIRMED: MATIC SIGNS NEW UNITED CONTRACT

Manchester United is delighted to announce that Nemanja Matic has signed a new contract, which will keep him at the club until June 2023.

Matic joined United in 2017 and has made 114 appearances for the club. The Serbian international has represented his country on 48 occasions.

Nemanja Matic said: “I am very happy that I will continue to be part of this great club.

“As a player, I still have a lot more to give and achieve in my career and to do that with Manchester United will be a huge honour.

“This is a really exciting team to be part of, we have a good balance of youth and experience within the squad and there is great comradery amongst the group.

“This is a key part of the season and we are playing well. We will continue to fight to finish the season on a high and make our amazing supporters proud.”

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said: “I am delighted that Nemanja has signed a new contract, I know his experience, professionalism and leadership will be invaluable to this young talented group.

“We have great strength in midfield and Nemanja’s attributes are a key part of that. Nemanja has been here for three seasons now and really understands the values of playing for Manchester United.

“He remains hugely ambitious and determined which will be vital as we look to achieve our aims over the coming years.”

Leicester and Chelsea seem to have a tougher draw.
None of the teams can afford an lost.

Tonite Leicester will face Arsenal and Chelsea will play Crystal Palace.
Our next game will be against Villa

Chelsea managed to hang on to win 3-2 over Crystal Palace.
Pity that in almost the last min of extra time, CP should have equalised but the shot glazed the post.

Hopefully we can push the 2 teams above all the way by winning all the rest of our games

Yes Arsenal did us a big favour in their draw against Leicester, otherwise it will be more tricky situation for us because goal difference they are in a much superior position. So it is now up to us to make sure we win all games, including the final game vs Leicester

Tonight’s game we can see 1st hand how good this Grealish is but imo no matter how good he does tonight he’s not worth the 80m price tag and our midfield is well stock at the moment, would rather OGS spend the $ on either a right winger or a left sided defender.

It's always better to have competition for places, those out of form and to cover players being injured during the season.

Creative players are always good against the teams that play defensively away and so at home too. Need a quick and tough centre back too.

Wolves is one such team even when they are at home. That's why when the opposing team doesn't attack they have difficulty in scoring. Their style of play is to just either hit long balls to their forwards or wait to counter attack the other team when they break. When they were home against Arsenal recently, they looked like the away team.

We are still not certain if PP would extend his contract. Pogba being Pogba may just surprise Ole by giving all kind of demands and here we go again. Then there is his notorious agent who dislike us to the core. Cos when Ole said he is confident PP will extend, then I tend not to believe. He had been most inaccurate in most of his calls
