Rashford needs to improve his conversion rate. He misses too many chances. Our defence with high balls is a worry. But at least we got 3 points today.

I like the way they "woke up" when Brighton pulled a goal back. The way we hit back with the quick goal was great and yes, MR should have put us in a much more comfortable position had he not missed a sitter.
But at least in the 2nd half, we see some fighting spirit in our lads.

Totally agree that it is time for Young to be rested and let Brandon Williams take over. This lad had a great game tonight. Fearless and quick but the only negative is can be abit too robust in his challenges

I don't think I saw Lindelöf head the ball at all. Defence needs to improve in clearing high balls into the box. Only defender that is constantly heading the ball is Maguire. We will probably need to get a better centreback to partner Maguire. maybe Tuanzebe or another young player

Before this goal, there was a hand ball at the other end which the MC players protested.

The first goal should NEVER be allowed to stand. Whether it is handball by Bernado or TAA (which should then be penalty), the game should have been STOPPED.
The VAR rule states very clearly that if the ball is LAST handled by the opposition and thereafter leads to a goal, the goal is NOT COUNTED.
We can see very clearly that the ref (supposed to be the best in the League) did not understand this rule.
If the first goal did not go Liverpool's way, the game could have been different if penalty was given.
The irony is that Klopp would say that TAA was too close to avoid the ball, thus agreeing that the ball did last touched the attacking team that led to goal.
Either way, the game should have either restarted or penalty awarded.
The fact that VAR only argued that TAA touched the ball cos he was in close proximity, that means Oliver is hopelessly wrong.
MC can only view this as yet another decisive decision for Liverpool, but NOTHING can be done now
