Figure 8 puffer

Hi,

Any place in the west side that sells the figure 8 puffer? small ones.

Went to C328, their figure 8 puffers are the same size at the green spotted puffers. Too big.

I mean, same size as the green spotted puffers.

Sorry....what u meant by too big ?
most fig 8 comes about 1.5 to 2 inches.

Unless u meant Dwarf puffers....

Just a FYI, these are not fish to be kept with others....

fishlearn 12-12-2013 09:08 PM

I am looking for those that are slightly bigger than the dwarf puffers.
But smaller than the green spotted puffer.
maybe about 1.5cm long.

I had 1 of them of this size before, but he died within the week because he didnt want to eat anything. After that I cant find any small ones anymore. All of them are the same size as the green spotted puffer.

So, trying to check with bros here, if there is any place in the west area that I can go to find this small figure 8 puffer

There are some smaller ones at Y618. But not as small as the ones u said.

If too small, harder to survive.

The Fig 8 puffer need slightly brackish water. Note Brackish is like 30% to 70% SEA-WATER....not aquarium salt.

So far, only MBU and SAPs have been successfully comm with other fish.

When buying, see the number of Fig8 or GSPs that have broken tails....
Puffers are not community fishes as they tend to bite and nibble....

I would prefer to tell hobbyists not to try...

Thanks for the heads-up Zadrian.
Shall make a special trip to Y618 to get this guy then.
