Bubble is Male or Female
 
Hi Everyone,
New to betta keeping got around 10 pcs size about one and half inches.( 10 pcs for $3.00 )
How to know is male or female. Some had a lot of bubble and other nothing.
Is more bubble male.
Please advice

most of the time by seeing the shape of body.
Do post photos up so we could guide you through it :)

Keep ok. Breed most probably not ok. A quality piece should cost only 30 cents each.

Imo, it's good to start with lower priced fish, then slowly progress.

As long as you are happy with the fishes, that's more important.

Hi Jack

Welcome to the hobby. This hobby is a very poisonous one whereby you would not know when to start till you realise you run out of containers storing them. Nevertheless, it is a happy problem though.

For price to start this hobby, it depends on the deepness of your pockets. However, one step at a time. My 2 cents of thought.

If you are in doubt with some questions on bettas, you can check out the FAQs or post your questions here and definitely there will be many ppl who would come forward to assist.
