Chameleon Whiptail fries(Locally bred)....
I was away for about a week and only returned back home last night
(24/11/12).. To my surprise, I noticed some fries roaming at the bottom of the tank looking for food.. The male Chameleon whiptail has released its clutch of eggs upon hatching.. They are small, about half inch each but pretty active.. One of the free roaming fry http://i482.photobucket.com/albums/r...rmarko/345.jpg Some of the rest.. http://i482.photobucket.com/albums/r...rmarko/331.jpg Under the watchful eyes of the Daddy.. http://i482.photobucket.com/albums/r...rmarko/369.jpg |
Very nice and cute fries! Thanks for sharing. May I know what you are going to feed them with? Small pellets?

Wow so cute .cheers!

congrats! Looking cute. What's your tank size?

One difference I noticed is that these Chameleon Whiptail fries are always moving along the sandbed as compared to other common whiptails whereby their fries tend to stick to the side of the tank... So in a way, feeding them would be easier I guess..:)
